Happy BD!

Hi all,

I hope everyone's week is going well. This is a short work week for me. I'm taking Friday and Monday off to visit friends who live in the central coast's wine country. We always have lots of fun there and it's a really beautiful part of California. The wine is not bad either.  :)

Well, enough of that. Today I have a very simple and quick birthday card.  All products are from Taylored Expressions. The stamp set is "Make a Wish" and the paper is from the Make a Wish Project Pantry set.

Supplies
Stamps: Make a Wish stamp set by Taylored Expressions
Card stock: TE chocolate, gold, blue and choice snow white
Patterned paper: B-day Bash collection by Imaginisce
Ink: memento tuxedo black, Copics
Other: SU 3/4" round punch, classic circle and scalloped circle Nesties, the big shot, expresso dimensional pearls, glue pen, twine, and SU dimensionals.

Thanks for looking in,
Colleen

SFYTT Happy Birthday

Yikes! It's been awhile since my last post. Too much work, not enough stamping is all I can say.  I hope everyone is having a great first weekend of fall. It's been just gorgeous here on the southern California coast for the last week.  Warm and not a cloud.

Today I have a birthday card made using Jen's SFYTT layout. It turned out very, very bright and I think the recipient will love it.

Another Christmas Card Done, Many to Go

Good Tuesday Morning stampers,

I have a really quick post this morning. I am slowly starting on my Christmas cards for this year. That's a good thing, but I need to speed it up or I'm going to be in trouble. For this card, I used Taylor's Friday sketch #127. I think I may use this layout for a few more as I really like how it worked out. I didn't stay exactly to the sketch. I turned it sideways and used an oval rather than a circle, and I added a big loopy bow.

Make A Wish for SSSC #85

Good Monday morning fellow stampers,

It's back to work today, and back to a regular 5 day work week. I like those 4 day work weeks. Too bad they all aren't. But enough about that. As I mentioned in yesterdays post, I had fun doing quite a bit of stamping this past weekend and I have several posts scheduled for this week.

First up for today's post is my card for Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge #85. I pulled out some retired Stampin' Up products for this one and made a bright, fun kiddo card. I had forgotten how cute these guys are and I enjoyed coloring them with Copics.  Here you go:

FTL #107 & Curtain Call Color Challenge, Act #47

Hi all,

Well, the weekend is almost done and as usual, it was way too short. I did get quite a bit of stamping in over the two days, which is always a joy and very relaxing for me.

Today's post is a Thank you card that uses this weeks Curtain Call Colors crumb cake, early expresso, always artichoke and whisper white. The sketch is from this week's Fall-to Layout 107. The colors for this weeks Curtain Call seemed pretty dark to me, but I actually really like my card now that it's done.

Time For Tea and Sketch Challenges

Hi all,

How is everyone's Saturday going? Very well, I hope.  I'm spending this afternoon stamping, while listening to baseball (Padres vs Giants) on the radio and watching tennis (Federer vs DJokovic) on TV. I'm a girl, so very good at multi-tasking. {grin} Who am I rooting for? The Padres and Federer.  Like most all tennis fans, I would like to see a Rafa vs Fed final tomorrow.

My first card is one I made for the Crazy 4 Challenges, C4C54. The challenge this week is to use black, red and kraft.  I used Mercy's Tuesday sketch #90 for the layout.

Mojo Monday & Curtain Call Color Challenge

Hello all,

I hope you had a fab holiday weekend.  Too bad it's time to get back to work again. I spent my holiday day off doing some shopping, tennis watching and stamping, so all in all, a fun day.

For the stamping part of my day, I made a card for Stacey's Curtain Call Color Challenge, Act 46.  Very pretty colors in this one I thought. This week's Mojo Monday 155 is the layout.

Get Well for SFYTT

For my second post today, I have a get well card that I made for my friend Alison.  She was going to fly down from Sacramento for the long weekend, but came down with a bad cold late in the week.  I used Jen's Sketch For You To Try for the layout.

Supplies
Stamps:  Doctor's Orders by Taylored Expressions
Card stock: pomegranate, teal and choice snow white Taylored Expressions
Patterned Paper: Walk In the Park by Echo Park from TE August Key Ingredients set

Other: ribbon and flower rhinestone from TE August KI set, classic circle and scalloped circle Nesties, Seeing Spots EF, SU orange corduroy buttons, the Big Shot and dimensionals.

I am taking my Mac into the "Mac doctor" later this afternoon as the bar on the track pad is sticking really badly.  I hope it is not gone too long, but it definitely needs fixing.

Happy Labor Day everyone,
Colleen

I missed making a card for last week's SSSC {sad face here} but, I made time today to do some stamping.  I decided to use this week's sketch to make a Christmas card.  I pulled out some retired SU stamps and paper for this one and then added lots of sparkly embellishments to finish it off. DSP: Holiday Lounge by SU
Ink: real red, taken with teal, early expresso all SU

I hope everyone is having a fun and restful holiday weekend.
