Happy Birthday To You

Monday is done, so I only have two more days to work until I fly to Portland to see my sister's family and attend my nephew's graduation. I'm really, really looking forward to spending some time with them.

Yesterday after dinner, I made this card. The theme, masculine card, is for the Paper Players and the layout is from Sweet Sunday Sketch. I kept it simple and brown, LOL.

The main panel is water color paper that I streaked with Tim Holtz markers and water in various shades of brown ink. After it dried, I stamped the greeting with SU Early Expresso.

Stamps: Another Great Year set by Stampin' Up
Paper: SU Tip Top Taupe and Early Expresso card stock, Tim Holtz water color paper, and Giddy Up by Carta Bella pattern paper
Ink: SU Early Expresso and Tim Holtz Distress Markers
Other: SU aqua painter pen, SU expresso candy dots, Die-namics die, the Big Shot and dimensionals

Have a great Tuesday and thanks for looking in,

  1. I miss this sentiment stamp! A great CAS card Colleen - I love the moustache paper peeking out. Thanks for joining in with my masculine challenge over at The Paper Players this week!

  2. Colleen, I just love your watercolor paper panel! The markers look great to make this bold sentiment pop! The mustache paper is so fun peeking out! Great sketch, too! Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players this week! XX

  3. An adorable masculine card, Colleen! I LOVE the mustache paper! It makes the card have a vintage vibe, especially against the striped paper! Thanks for playing with The Paper Players this week!
