Hello again,
This is my second post this afternoon. Guess I'm on a roll, LOL! I made this very quick card using the current Freshly Made Sketch. In addition, I'm playing along with the current Crazy 4 Challenges - Lighthouse theme.
I used the ink smooshing technique with three Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers applied to an acrylic block. I spritzed some water on the block and on the watercolor paper, then pressed the block to the paper. After it dried, I stamped the images with Memento tuxedo black. Unfortunately, the photo doesn't show the embossed background. I used the Taylored Expressions Cloud embossing plate on the card front. IRL it looks pretty cute with the lighthouse image.
Supplies
Stamps: Life Is Good set by Lawn Fawn
Paper: SU whisper white card stock, Ranger water color paper and Doodlebug Sunkissed patterned papers
Ink: Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers, Memento tuxedo black
Other: Lawn Fawn stitched banner die, Taylored Expressions Cloud embossing plate, turquoise baker's twine, sequins, The Big Shot, dimensionals
TFL!

Life Is A Journey
Hi all,
The Crazy 4 Challenge has a fun sketch this week, so I thought I'd play along. This is another birthday card that I needed this week. (lots of friends with birthdays in June).
I mixed up some different stamp sets from two different manufacturers and I really like the way it came together. The recipient did too.
Supplies
Stamps: "Bikes and Trikes" set by Taylored Expressions and LLD "Border It- Modern Borders" set by My Favorite Things
Paper: Orange, blue and white card stock by Taylored Expressions and Simple Stories "DIY" patterned paper
Ink: Black Licorice Hybrid Ink by MFT, Copics, SU Island Indigo
Other: TE Grass Border die, oval Nesties, SU corner rounder punch, enamel dots, the Big Shot, and dimensionals
Thanks all,
Colleen

Time For Tea and Sketch Challenges
Hi all,
How is everyone's Saturday going? Very well, I hope. I'm spending this afternoon stamping, while listening to baseball (Padres vs Giants) on the radio and watching tennis (Federer vs DJokovic) on TV. I'm a girl, so very good at multi-tasking. {grin} Who am I rooting for? The Padres and Federer. Like most all tennis fans, I would like to see a Rafa vs Fed final tomorrow.
My first card is one I made for the Crazy 4 Challenges, C4C54. The challenge this week is to use black, red and kraft. I used Mercy's Tuesday sketch #90 for the layout.
Supplies
Stamps: Cherry Tea Pot by Annette Allen Watkins, sentiment from CreativiTEA set by Taylored Expressions
Card stock: SU black, riding hood red and kraft
Patterned paper: SU Love Letter DSP
Ink: SU craft black, Color Box chalk in warm red and Copics
Other: Clear EP, classic circle and lacey circles Nesties, sparkly red candy dot, black rhinestones, sewing machine, the Big Shot, SU black silk ribbon and crochet trim, mini glue dots and dimensionals.
Good news for me, the Padres won. The tennis match is tied 4 all in the 5th. GO FED!
Have a good evening and thanks for stopping by,
Colleen
