Happy Saturday Crafty Friends,
I'm getting Sketchy with MFTWSC61 today. I used some October Afternoon patterned papers, focusing on the color red for Linda's Recipe Swap "Seeing Red" challenge on a background of Kraft card stock for Jeanie's "That's Krafty Thursday" challenge.
This cute little "Purrfect" PI girl is colored with Copics. The sentiment is from the MFT "Clearly Sentimental About Pets" stamp set.
Here is the inside:
Supplies
Stamps: Pure Innocence "Purrfect" and "Clearly Sentimental About Pets" sets by My Favorite Things
Paper: Taylored Expressions red and SU Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla card stock and October Afternoon "Homemaker" patterned papers
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, SU real red and Copics
Other: Die-namics dies, Sizzix and SU embossing folders, SU red rhinestone brads, SU red polka-dot ribbon, the Big Shot, and dimensionals
Here are the Copics used today:
Thanks for stopping in today. Have a great rest of your weekend.

Love Is In the Air
TGIF!
I put this card together one evening this week while watching the Australian Open tennis matches. I love watching tennis, both on TV and in person. I played a lot in high school and college, and still love the game.
My card uses the current Card Positioning System layout, #252, sponsored this week by Taylored Expressions. Stamps, papers and dies used are all TE.
The papers are from the Valentine's Day Project Pantry kit. I love the reds and pinks with the kraft card stock. Speaking of kraft card stock, I'm entering this card in Jeanie's That's Krafty Thursday #57 challenge as well.
Supplies
Stamps: Love Everywhere set by Taylored Expressions
Paper: TE kraft, red and choice buttercream card stock and Pebbles With Love patterned papers
Ink: SU crumb cake and ridding hood red, Memento tuxedo black
Other: TE cloud border and clouds dies, TE hearts impressions plate, classic circle Nesties, pink rhinestones, SU corner rounder punch, the Big Shot, and dimensionals
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend. Thanks for stopping in today,
Colleen

Knock If You Dare . . . .
Good Monday morning stampers,
Yesterday I had the chance to stamp the day away. This is the second card that I made. It's my first Halloween card for this year. I love sending Halloween cards, so I thought I should get crackin'.
This card uses TESC #146 for the layout. I strayed slightly and didn't exactly use the three squares, but the basic sketch look is still there. I've used several new Taylored Expressions goodies from the September release. I love them all! I also used Kraft card stock so I can play along in Jeanie's That's Krafty Thursday #54 challenge.
Supplies
Stamps: Taylored Expressions Spooky Wreath
Card Stock: TE kraft and black from the Spooky Project Pantry Kit
Patterned Papers: Apothecary Emporium by Echo Park, also from the TE Spooky Project Pantry Kit
Ink: SU craft black
Other: Judi Kins Black Diamond embossing powder, TE Spooky Fence border die, TE wreath die, TE Spooky Impressions plate, TE brads, TE orange ribbon, SU round and square punches, sewing machine, the Big Shot, and dimensionals
Have a wonderful week ahead, and thanks for looking in,
Colleen

Hi Tweet Thang
It's Sunday and that means it's time again for Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge #107. Yikes, Karen! What's up with all these little squares again? lol. Not to worry, I took the easy way out and used one of my SU square punches. It worked pretty well and the sketch turned out to be a fun one to play with.
I used another new stamp set that I bought this past week from Our Craft Lounge. (if the doc doesn't let me go back to work soon, I'm going to be broke) I seem to be into birdies lately and when I saw this Tweet Thang set, I had to have it.

I used some patterned papers from the TE Garden Party Project Pantry from last summer and decided to put them on craft card stock keeping with the nature theme. I probably spent more time on deciding if the stripped paper squares should be placed vertical or horizontal. Isn't it strange what we get hung up on in our creating? Since I'm using craft card stock, I'm going to submit this to Jeanie's Thats Krafty Thrusday challenge also.
Here's a peek at the inside:
Supplies
Stamps: Tweet Thang by Our Craft Lounge
Card stock: SU craft/crumb cake and TE choice buttercream
Patterned paper: 72 and Sunny from We R Memory Keepers
Ink: memento tuxedo black and rich cocoa, SU real red, and Copics
Other: TE medium scalloped border die, classic square Nestie, SU square and round punches, SU chocolate button, SU crafter's took kit, TE red ribbon, baker's twine, pop up glue dots, the Big Shot, and dimensionals
Since I brought it up, my arm is doing really well. Just no lifting yet. I do have a Dr's. appointment tomorrow morning and I'm expecting to get my "back to work" release. I'm really ready to get back. If released, I will have been off just shy of two months, which is one month less than the norm with my type of surgery. So, that's something good.
I hope you all have a fabulous work week,
Colleen

Love for Inspiration from Around Blog-land
Hi and Happy Friday all,
I have SO been enjoying all of the cards around blog-land lately using the little Valentine's girl from the Greeting Card Kids stamp set from Stampin' Up. Especially those from Vicki over at her blog "It's A Stamp Thing". I've enjoyed them so much that I've been inspired to pull my set out and join in the fun. I used this month's SFYTT layout on a base of kraft card stock to participate in Jeanie's That's Krafty Thursday challenge.
Included on my card is an element that I was inspired to make after reading Danielle Lounds' blog this morning. It's the rosette. Danielle included instructions on how to make the rosette today. I followed her instructions and was very pleased with the results.
Thanks ladies for the wonderful inspiration!
Supplies
Stamps: Greeting Card Kids set from Stampin' Up
Card stock: SU kraft, real red and whisper white
Patterned paper: SU Love Impressions DSP
Ink: memento tuxedo black, Copics
Other: Labels 4 Nesties, Cuttlebug Dots EF, SU punches, SU real red ribbon, red Stickles, the Big Shot, and dimensionals
Thanks for looking in today and have a fabulous weekend.

Hay There
My second post is a card that I made last night. This one will be sent to my cousin who actually does own and work on his ranch in northern California. He's a fun guy with a great sense of humor, so I think he will get a kick out of this tractor (he's spent many hours on one).
I used Mercy's Tuesday sketch for the layout, and since the base is kraft card stock, I will also submit it to Jeanie's Krafty Thursday challenge.
Supplies
Stamps: Udderly Sweet stamp set by Taylored Expressions and Teeny Tiny Wishes by Stampin' Up
Card stock and patterned paper: Taylored Expressions Udderly Sweet Project Pantry kit
Ink: memento tuxedo black, memento cantaloupe for sponging, SU real red and Copic markers
Other: Labels Three Nesties, SU large oval punch, SU polka dot embossing folder, red candy dots, the Big Shot, and dimensionals

Happy Thoughts
It's "hump" day. I hope the weeks been good to you so far.
Today I have a quick post. I was playing with a new stamp set from
Stampin' Up called Apple Blossom. It kind of has a "country" feel to me so I thought it would be perfect on Kraft paper. That being the case, the card is perfect for Jeanie's Krafty Thursday challenge over at her The Spotted Chick blog.
Supplies
Stamps: Apple Blossom set by Stampin' Up
Card stock: Kraft and chocolate chip by Stampin' Up
Patterned Paper: Pebbles Treehouse
Ink: Wild wasabi, ridding hood red, chocolate chip by Stampin' Up
Other: SU corner punch, SU yellow brad, chocolate ribbon and dimensionals
Tomorrow I have one more card made with this set. See you back here then. Have a great day,
Colleen

What's Brewin'? - TESC116 and Krafty Thursday #29
Greetings,
Yea, it's Friday! I hope you all had a good week. I'm on jury duty, but here in San Diego they don't hold trials on Fridays, so I worked today. I'll be back in court Monday to hear more testimony.
After work I had a chance to do some stamping. I made a card that fits Taylor's Friday sketch 116 and Jeanie's Krafty Thursday sketch #29.
I took a little extra time on this one to paper piece Tena's blouse and pants and to add some bling for her earring. I'd say that's "krafty." Even though I'm not a coffee drinker, I love this set. It is just so FUN.
Here's my card:
Supplies
Stamps: "Let's Do Coffee" by Taylored Expressions
Card stock: Kraft, real red, and choice butter cream
DSP: Cosmo Cricket and October Afternoon
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, memento rich cocoa, Copics
Other: classic circle and large scallop circle nesties, round paperclip, ribbon, expresso dimensional pearls, blue rhinestone, embellie gellie, the Big Shot and dimensionals
Have a great weekend everyone,
Colleen
