Happy Howlidays

Are you ready for a new Paper Players challenge? It's Sunday and LeAnne is our hostess this week with one of my favorite type of challenges. We're playing Tic-Tac-Toe this week with an emphasis on winter and/or holiday cards. Here are the options.

For my card I chose the right side of the grid, Snowflakes, Patterned Paper, Ribbon and made a Christmas card with a new Lawn Fawn Christmas stamp set.

This set is called Happy Howlidays and it features the gang of Dachshunds all dressed up for the holidays. The patterned paper is Lawn Fawn You Warm My Heart Holiday patterned papers. The images are stamped with Memento tuxedo black and colored with Copics then cut out using the corresponding Lawn Cut dies. The snowy hills are Die-namics Stitched Hill dies.

The inside features Santa Paws and a few presents for his friends.

You will find more inspiration when you visit the rest of the DT's blogs here.

  3. So cute, Colleen! Love the layer of vellum and how it tones down the color of the background paper enough to see the sentiment--great idea. These little pups are too cute!

  4. I couldn't wait to comment on this card...it is just so cute! All the little characters just make me want to grin!

  5. Colleen, these are just adorable!!!! The top card made me LOL! Love the little puppy with the lights tangled all around. Looks like my mess of lights! XX

  6. Colleen, I'm with Claire - the top card made me laugh out loud - what a totally fun card. I am obsessed with it. It's such a wonderful scene that you have created. I love that you captured so much interested and movement and yet it is still so clean. Fabulous

  7. Oh my goodness - what an adorable puppy trio you have there Colleen! Love the vellum layering on the central panel too and the fresh green. Perfect festive fun!

  8. What an adorable card, Colleen! I see you love those little Lawn Fawn critters as much as I do. Love the inside of your card too, it's pretty enough to be an outside!
