Joy

Hi,
One more post tonight. This card uses the current Deconstructed Sketch #75. I kept this one pretty simple using the same Paper Smooches set as with the first card tonight. I love these graphic stamps.
The images are colored with Copics. The papers are all from the TE Christmas Project Pantry kit.

To add a little bling, I added a red rhinestone to each tree and red Stickles to the hearts in Joy and on the large tree.

Supplies
Stamps: Paper Smooches set
Paper: TE green, red and white card stock and Carta Bella Merry & Bright patterned papers
Ink: Memento tuxedo black and Copics
Other: TE ribbon, Kaiser red rhinestones, red Stickles, SU medium oval and scalloped oval punches, TE medium and small scalloped border dies

Have a good rest of the week and again, thanks for looking in,

Peace On Earth

Happy Monday evening everyone,

I hope everyone on the East Coast is doing well and is out of harm's way tonight.

I'm squeaking in with my October SFYTT card. The layers on this sure were fun to play with. I used some "new to me" Paper Smooches stamps and Lawn Fawn patterned papers.

The snowman is stamped with Memento tuxedo black and colored with BG70 Copics. Then I smeared Crystal Stickles all over him to make him look nice and icy. I thought that the heart ornament would look kind of like the Earth colored in green and blue Copics. It's popped up on a dimensional on his little twig hand.

Supplies
Stamps: Paper Smooches
Paper: Taylored Expressions medium and light blue card stock, X-Press IT blending card stock, Lawn Fawn patterned papers
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, Copics and SU Riding Hood red
Other: Crystal and Red Stickles and dimensionals

Thanks for looking in,
Colleen

Fangtastic!

Good evening all,

I had a very long work day today. I just got home in time to watch the 9th inning of game 1 of the World Series. Go Giants!

Tonight's card is another that I made this past weekend. I followed the current Paper Player's challenge to use a frame, and the current Dynamic Duos challenge of orange and black. The sketch is last weeks Freshly Made sketch. The stamps are from Paper Smoochies.

On Saturday afternoon I went to one of my local stamp stores and bought some Paper Smooches and Lawn Fawn stamp sets. I have been eyeing them in blogland for several months and finally decided that I had to have some, LOL.

Supplies
Stamps: Spookalicious set by Paper Smooches
Paper: Taylored Expressions orange and black card stock, X-Press It blending card stock, Pebbles Tricks and Treats patterned paper
Ink: Memento tuxedo black and Copics
Other: SU Framelits dies, SU googlie eyes, black polkadot tape, the Big Shot, and dimensionals

Only two more work days this week. Can't wait for the weekend. More stamping time.
Thanks for looking in all,
Colleen

Fluttering By With a Birthday Hi

Hi,

Here's another card that I made last weekend. This one is for a good friend's birthday. I used a new sketch challenge (to me) called CAS(E) This Sketch. The stamps are from Taylored Expressions. (Please excuse the photography. For some reason, this turned out really dark)

For the leaves, I used TE dies to cut the shapes from white paper then I sponged them with some fall colored inks. After gluing them on the card front, I added the orange/gold rhinestones. The birdhouse, bird and squirrel are colored with Copics. The background was made with the TE woodgrain Impressions Plate.

Supplies
Stamps: Best Nests set by Taylored Expressions
Paper: SU True Thyme, Really Rust, and Confetti White card stock
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, Copics, SU True Thyme, Really Rust, Cranberry Crisp, and Marigold Morning classic ink pads
Other: TE From the Heart Frame die, TE Wood Grain Impressions Plate, TE Mini Leaf dies, Kaiser Rhinestones, the Big Shot, and dimensionals

Thank You for the Paper Players and Freshly Made Sketches

Good evening all,

Is it me or did the weekend just speed by? I'm not ready to go back to work, but alas, I guess I have to. I have a project starting tomorrow that I really don't want to do. The good news is it should all be over by the end of the work day on Wednesday.

Tuesday is "Bosses Day" in the U.S. and my friend asked me to make a card that he can give to his supervisor. Since I was making his, I figured that I'd make one for my manager as well, which is the second card in this post.

For the first card, I used the new Paper Players #117 color challenge of Cajun Craze, Brovo Burgundy, and Night of Navy. I found an old SU paper pack of Rich Regals colors and paired them with some retired SU stamp sets. In fact, it's an all SU card with the exception of the blue rhinestones.

The sketch is the Freshly Made #56.

Here's the card that I made for my manager.

No sketch on this one. Just something I came up with. I used the one of the same stamp sets as in the first card, but totally different colors.

Supplies for Card 1
Stamps: Gently Falling and Alaphabet Soup sets by Stampin' Up
Paper: SU Vanilla, Night of Navy, Brovo Burgundy card stock and Rich Regals paper pack DSP
Ink: SU Cajun Craze, Night of Navy, Brovo Burgundy classic pads
Other: SU corner punch, SU linen thread, SU 3/4" round punch, Kaiser rhinestones and dimensionals

Supplies for Card 2
Stamps: Gently Falling and Tiny Tags sets by Stampin' Up
Paper: SU Very Vanilla and SU Orchard Harvest DSP
Ink: SU More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Always Artichoke and Cherry Cobbler classic pads
Other: Corner Chomper, SU linen thread, dimensionals

Have a great week all and thanks for looking in,
Colleen

Frosty and Fabulous

A very good Monday morning to you and Happy 1st day of October,

I'm Getting Sketchy with MFTWSC91 today. Technically, I guess I did that on Saturday evening when I made this card. I was in a Christmas card making mood and got two more completed on Saturday.

The image is watercolored with Tim Holtz Distress markers and my aqua painter on some TE watercolor paper. After it dried, I applied some Crystal Stickles to the darker part of the hat and the scarf. (I can't seem to make a card these days without using some Stickles on it). The patterned papers are a new 6 x 6 pad that I just bought a few weeks ago from MME called Winter Wonderland.

Supplies
Stamps: Frosty and Fabulous Snowman by My Favorite Things
Paper: SU Not Quite Navy, Ridding Hood Red card stock,  TE watercolor paper and My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland patterned papers
Ink: Memento tuxedo black and Tim Holtz Distress Markers
Other: Die-namics dies, aqua painter, candy dots, crystal candy dots, Stickles, the Big Shot and dimensionals

Have a great week all, and thanks,
Colleen
