Hello,
Since I saw this week's sketch at Case This Sketch, I've been thinking of how to create a card for it. I was kind of stumped to tell the truth. After viewing all of the lovely submissions on the blog to help with inspiration, I finally came up with an idea. This week's color challenge at CanYouCaseIt? helped too.
Here's what I came up with to play along with both challenges.
This is one of my very old wooden stamps from Rubber Stampede. I've had it about a billion years. I first stamped it in the center of the right side of the white panel in Memento tuxedo black ink. I made a mask from post-it notes and stamped it again at the top and bottom changing the angle each time.
After stamping, I colored the images with Copics in greens and yellows and used B01 and B02 for the space around the images.
I trimmed the panel to 3.5 inches and glued it over the strip of patterned paper onto the card base. I added a few enamel dots in the challenge colors for final embellishment.
We went to a friends for a summer dinner party on Saturday. I'll send this as their "thank you" card. Here's the inside:
Thanks for looking in today,
Colleen
Supplies
Stamps: Apple image from Rubber Stampede, Thank You greeting from Avery Elle, inside sentiment from MFT
Paper: SU Pear Pizzazz and X-Press It Blending card stock, Crate Paper patterned paper
Ink: Memento tuxedo black and Copics
Other: Enamel dots

You're On the Nice List
Well Happy Monday morning,
I am hitting the highway in a few minutes, but first I wanted to post this card that I made last night after dinner. It was super quick to make and I love how it turned out. The inspiration for this Christmas card comes from this week's CanYouCaseIt? #97 inspiration photo. The layout is the 150th CAS(E) this Sketch.

Hello again,
One more post today. This time a change of pace from Christmas cards. Here's a Thanksgiving card for you.

I used the Lawn Fawn Party Animal set with the holiday additions for my little Thanksgiving fox. The layout is from this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge and I'm also linking up to this week's CanYouCaseIt? Color Challenge. The colors this week are browns, yellows and neutral.

Ink: Memento tuxedo black, Copics, SU Early Expresso
Other: Lawn Cuts Stitch Party Banners and Party Animal dies, Spellbinders classic circle die, white enamel dots, SU small circle punch, the Big Shot, dimensionals
Thanks again for stopping by my blog,
Colleen

Fleece Navidad
Hello stampers,
I found some time last night after work to do some stamping. Yay! I've been working on some sewing projects lately so there's been no room on my craft table to stamp. But, I got to a point in my project that I felt I could clean things up and do some stamping.
When I first saw this new Baaah Humbug Christmas set from Lawn Fawn I knew that I wanted it. I think it's the "fleece navidad" sentiment combined with this knitting sheep. It just tickles my funny bone!
Joanne has an interesting color challenge for this week's Paper Player's challenge. The colors are black, white, silver or gold, and one other color. Since I hadn't used my new stamp set yet, I thought I'd see if I could make it work with these colors. The sketch is from CanYouCaseIt.
Thanks for looking. I hope everyone has a good week.

The sentiment is stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed with silver EP. The silver and snowflake sequin are SU. The sheep is colored with Copics and she and her accessories are cutout with the coordinating dies. The Christmas lights have Christmas red stickles applied over the coloring.
For the inside, I used one of the sentiments from SU More Merry Messages sets and another greeting from the Baaah Humbug set, both heat embossed in silver.
Supplies
Stamps: Baaah Humbug set by Lawn Fawn
Paper: X-Press It Blending white, SU Basic Black and Real Red card stock and SU All Is Calm DSP
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, VersaMark, Copics
Other: Lawn Fawn Baaah Humbug dies, Die-namics Fishtail Flag die, SU silver EP, heat tool, Stickles, Wink of Stella pen, SU sequin, the Big Shot and dimensionals

I'm Dead Serious
Hello crafty peeps,
I made today's card with the new CanYouCaseIt #90 Halloween challenge in mind. Basically, anything Halloween goes.
As I've said before, I love to color and this SugarPea set is perfect for practicing. For my color scheme, I saw the ColorQ challenge #311 has a Halloween palette this week which worked perfectly for my card.
Her zombie boyfriend is on the inside:
These would be awesome Halloween costumes, for a party, but lots of work to pull off. Speaking of costumes, this week's Crazy4 Challenge is to make a card with someone or something in costume, so I'm playing along with them as well.
Supplies
Stamps: Undying Love set by SugarPea Designs
Paper: SU Basic Black, Wisteria Wonder, Kiwi Kiss and X-Press It Blending card stocks. Bella Blvd Halloween Magic patterned papers
Ink: Memento tuxedo black and Copics
Other: SU black pre-cut spiderweb, Die-namics pinking and double-stitched circle dies, Wink of Stella glitter pen (hair bow and skirt), Crystal Effects (eyes), sequins, the Big Shot, dimensionals
Have a good Sunday evening and thanks for looking in,
Colleen

Let It Snow!
Hello again,
One more post today. This card combines the two CASE It challenges, CAS(E) This Sketch #141 and CanYouCaseIt? #87 color challenge. Any three blues with a neutral. I used Brilliant blue, medium blue and light blue.
Here's my card:
This sketch is very intreguing to me. I wasn't sure what I would do with it at first, but after some thought I came up with this winter scene. I think that using the blue color theme from CanYouCaseIt helped with the overall planning. In fact, I'm sure it did. However it worked out, I pretty much love it.
Supplies
Stamps: Snow Place set by Stampin' Up
Paper: X-Press It Blending and retired SU Brilliant Blue card stocks, Doodlebug Frosty Friends patterned papers
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, SU Brilliant Blue, Pacific Point, Soft Sky, VersaMark, Copics
Other: SU Snow Place dies, Die-namics Fishtail Flags Pierced and Pinking circle dies, the Big Shot, dimensional tape, sequins, SU white EP, heat tool
Going to our neighbors for tacos for dinner. Should be fun, fun, fun.
Thanks for checking in,
Colleen

Hello
Yes, Hello,
I hope you are all having a relaxing and fun holiday (Labor Day in the U.S.). I've been hanging out at home doing some stamping while watching U.S. Open Tennis and an afternoon baseball game. I did manage to get a few loads of laundry done, so at least one chore out of the way.
The card I made this afternoon works for several challenges. The sketch is the new Mojo Monday #414 and the color scheme comes from the CanYouCaseIt? #85 color challenge. The colors this week are brown, blue and yellow. Finally, the September Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge week one is "anything goes." I used some super cute Paper Smooches stamps for my card so I will post to it as well.
Here is the inside. I kept it pretty simple, but I think it's pretty cute.
Supplies
Stamps: Whimsical set and Flap Happy set (greetings) both by Paper Smooches
Paper: SU Early Expresso, Hello Honey and Very Vanilla card stock, My Minds Eye Stella & Rose patterned papers
Ink: SU Early Expresso and Hello Honey classic pads, Memento tuxedo black, Copics
Accessories: Die-namics Stitched Curved Rectangle and large Fishtail Flags STAX dies, Spellbinders Scalloped Circle die, Doodlebug enamel shapes, Reflections hemp twine, the Big Shot, dimensionals
