TGIF Peeps!
Playing around with the Betterpress set of the month for January last night and I made a couple of cards using the current Color Hues challenge colors of Lime and Navy.
The background is made with another Betterpress plate of the month from March of last year called Friendship Book Plate. I liked the foliage motif as the backdrop for the butterflies. The butterfly set comes with both dies to cut out the images and coloring stencils, which I did use. I love the modern feel of the images.
The cards differ in the landing shape, circle vs rectangle, the sentiment, and the enamel dot arrangement.
Card 2 front and inside.
I hope everyone has a fab weekend! Thanks for looking in.

These are just gorgeous, Colleen. I think those butterflies in navy and lime could not have turned out any more beautiful. You really made the colors shine with these beauties. Thanks for playing along at Color Hues.
ReplyDeleteEvery element of your two cards is gorgeous, Colleen! I love the swirly background and those beautiful butterflies, and how you highlighted the movement with the enamel dots. Thank you so much for sharing over at Color Hues!

ReplyDeleteWOW! I'm crushing over everything on your card: the pretty foliage motif background and, especially, your gorgeous butterflies. Stunning in navy and lime green and, I'm sure in any number of combinations. Thank you for sharing your creativity in the Colour Hues gallery.
