Hello,
When I saw the IG peeks for Waffle Flower's June release, I knew that I'd be buying several. Especially the sewing/quilting related stencils, stamps and dies. I may have grabbed some of the beach related ones as well, LOL. Those will show up at some point here on my blog.
I spent a whole afternoon earlier this week playing with the quilt stencils, and boy, were they fun. I used the current Color Hues challenge colors of Peach and Cobalt blue for this card, using the Patchwork Cat Stencil pack and greetings from the Quilted Hug Sentiments stamp set.
For the inside of this card I used another of the Quilted Hug birthday sentiments and a small pin cushion stamp.
I've actually been doing some quilting lately so these stencils, dies and stamps really caught my eye. So fun!
I love this fun quilted pattern, and those sentiments are just fabulous! I think I might need a shopping trip. Thanks for sharing with us at Color Hues!
ReplyDeleteI just love the direction you took with our colors, talk about creative with the blue eyed kittens. This turned out so well, Colleen. Thanks for sharing your talents with us at Color Hues.
ReplyDeleteHow can one not love those cute kitties! This is such a clever and unique take on my colors, Colleen, I just love your creativity. The "quilt" stitched front, the spool of thread, and the terrific inside sentiment complete the theme perfectly. Thank you so much for playing along at Color Hues!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Love that you mixed stamping, cats and quilting into one card.
