Spooky Wishes

Hello again,

I have a card here using another of my new PI girls.

I've used Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #192 for the layout. Another super fun sketch from Karen. I pulled out my box of washi tapes to use for the strips on the side and the bottom and my spider web EF for the background. She is stamped on X-Press It blending card stock with Memento tuxedo black and colored with a whole bunch of Copics. After cutting her out and mounting with dimensionals, I used yellow Stickles to make the pumpkin face on her shirt sparkle. If you look closely, there's a small orange rhinestone in the center of the bow in her hair.

For my sentiment, I stamped it on the smallest pumpkin from the Die-namics Primitive Pumpkin trio set and then placed a green pearl on the stem.

Here's the inside:

I used the Chevron Die-namics to cut out some black card stock to "match" the patterned papers on the front of the card. The inside greetings are stamped on some SU Pumpkin Pie card stock and attached with a strip of washi tape.

Supplies
Stamps: Pure Innocence Pretty Pumpkin set by My Favorite Things
Paper: TE dark gray, SU black, white and Pumpkin Pie card stock, X-Press It Blending card stock, American Crafts patterned paper
Ink: Memento tuxedo black and Copics
Other: Washi tapes, Die-namics Primitive Pumpkin Trio dies and Chevron dies, SU Spider Web EF, orange rhinestone and green pearl, Fiskars corner rounding punch, the Big Shot, and dimensionals

Have a great Wednesday and thanks for stopping by my blog,
Colleen

What's Mew?

Happy Monday afternoon all,

Yesterday I made a couple cards using new MFT Pure Innocence sets.  Using Jen's Deconstructed Sketch #117 layout and the Paper Player's color challenge by LeAnne, this is the first card. The challenge is to use Rich Razzleberry, Pool Party and Black. I colored my little kitty with Copics trying to match the Razzleberry and Pool Party colors.

Here is the inside. I kept it very, very simple.

Supplies

Hand-Crafted Treats - Mojo 309

Hello,

I received some new stamp sets last week and boy, I've been having fun with them. I ordered all three sets of the Well Preserved Jars sets from Clear and Simple, and their coordinating dies. They are so cute. I've been making some super cute jar tags over the last few days. (I'll post those later in the week hopefully.) This morning I wanted to make a card for the Mojo Monday sketch and decided to use the medium jar set for this card.

Supplies
Stamps: Well Preserved Jars - Medium set by Clear and Simple Stamps
Paper: SU whisper white card stock and Lucky Charm by American Crafts patterned papers
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, Memento LUXE Olive Grove, SU Crisp Cantaloupe
Other: classic circle and scalloped circle Nesties, Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX dies, SU punches, Baker's twine, the Big Shot, and dimensionals

Thinking Of You and SSSC191

Good Morning,

Today's card is made using Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #191 layout. Love this one too! Simple, but with two of my favorite elements, circles and banners.

I used an SU stamp set called Kind and Cozy. I stamped the gingham circle stamp with SU Pumpkin Pie ink on Whisper White card stock and cut it out with circle Nesties. Then I stamped the sentiment with SU white craft ink and heat embossed it with SU white EP and cut it out with a smaller circle Nestie. Both of these layers are popped up with dimensionals onto a larger Pumpkin Pie circle.

I used SU markers to color directly onto the flower stamp from the set, then fussy cut it and placed it under the sentiment using a dimensional. After adding the banners, I added sequins to match the sketch.

The  patterned papers are from a large pad of KI Memories papers that a friend gave me for Christmas last year.

On the inside, I left mostly blank space to write a note.

Supplies
Stamps: Kind and Cozy set by Stampin' Up
Paper: SU Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie and Taken With Teal card stock and KI Memories patterned papers
Ink: SU Craft White, Lucky Limeade and Island Indigo markers
Other: SU white embossing powder, classic circle Nesties, Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX dies, Fiskars corner rounder punch, heat tool, the Big Shot, sequins and dimensionals

Have a great Tuesday and thanks,
Colleen

i {heart} this!

Happy Monday,

Last night I had some late stamping time. I knew there was a new Paper Players challenge posted, so I decided to play along. Love the sketch by Nance. I pulled out two Reverse Confetti stamp sets, Arrows and Elements and Whole Lotta Dots to put this card together.

Using the large solid dots stamp, I first inked it in SU craft white ink and stamped it across the Crumb Cake card stock following the sketch. Then I inked it in SU Real Red ink and stamped over the white, slightly off to create the shadows.

I stamped some white card stock with the small dots stamp in Real Red then cut it out with the SU hearts die. The Real Red card stock was cut with the next size heart and the same as the white and popped up with dimensionals with the polka dot heart in the center.

The top of the card is pierced using the SU template and SU piercing tool.

Here's the inside. Very simple.

Supplies
Stamps: Whole Lotta Dots set and Arrows and Elements set by Reverse Confetti
Paper: SU Crumb  Cake, Real Red and Whisper White card stock
Ink: SU Real Red, Craft White, Memento tuxedo black
Other: SU hearts dies, SU piercing tool and template, SU banner die, Avery Elle sequins, the Big Shot, and dimensionals

I hope your week  goes well. Thanks for looking in,

S'more Fun For Everyone

Hello,

Here's a fun card using the August Key Ingredients and Stamp of the Month set from Taylored Expressions. I've combined them with Jen's Deconstructed Sketch #114. I really had fun with all of these layers! My kind of sketch, LOL.

The camping trailer is paper pieced. The tent is covered with Stickles. All of the panels are stitched. I think I'll send this to my mom as she is headed to the northern California coast for a few weeks in their motor home. This will be perfect to let her know I'm thinking of her. (BTW- my idea of camping is at the Four Seasons)

Supplies
Stamps: S'more Fun set by Taylored Expressions
Paper: TE card stock and We R Memory Keepers Happy Campers patterned papers
Ink: SU Always Artichoke, Gumball Green, Tempting Turquoise, Cajun Craze, Copic C8 marker
Other: Die-Namics Fishtail Flags STAX die, sewing machine, August KI turquoise ribbon, Stickles, the Big Shot, and dimensionals

Have a great week everyone. Thanks for looking in,
Colleen

Happy Holidays

Hello,

A fun Saturday for me. Spent the morning shopping for some new outfits including shoes. Very happy with what I bought. Then headed to a friend's house for a little summer party in her back yard. Had a nice chat with friends that I hadn't seen in quite awhile, then home to have dinner out with the Mr. After coming home from dinner, I decided to do a quick card. Here's one for this week's Merry Monday sketch #70.

This one was really quick. I let these cute, cute papers from Bella Blvd take center stage and just added a small stamped greeting.

Supplies
Stamps: Tag, You're It set by Taylored Expressions
Paper: SU Riding Hood Red and Regal Rose card stock and Bella Blvd Christmas Wishes patterned papers
Ink: SU Riding Hood Red
Other: classic oval Nesties, SU tag punch, SU red eyelet, Twinery pink baker's twine, the Big Shot and dimensionals
