Hi again,
This is my second post today, and I have a card that I made using the CAS(E) this Sketch #90 layout. This is another Halloween card, again with some new goodies from my SU Holiday Mini catalog order.
A very simple card to make using SU dies and one stamped word.
Supplies
Stamps: Boooo stamp from Goggly Ghouls set
Paper: SU Mossy Meadow, Basic Black and Very Vanilla card stock, Tricks and Treats by Pebbles patterned papers
Ink: Memento tuxedo black
Other: SU Fall Fun framelits die, SU chat bubble die, Pebbles enamel dots, the Big Shot, dimensionals
Happy Labor Day holiday! Thanks,
Colleen

Be Of Good Cheer
Hello,
I'm back with a Christmas card today. I recently received my SU order from the Holiday Mini catalog, so while watching baseball last night I broke out some of my new goodies. The Retro Sketch #130 this week looked fun and interesting, and I thought it was perfect to use my new SU "All Is Calm" Washi Tape.
I started with some Lost Lagoon card stock and cut a piece of "All Is Calm" DSP to cover the front of the card. Then I used the washi tape to make the pattern per the sketch. The greeting is stamped on banner flags made with Die-namics dies. The snowflakes are stamped on white with Lost Lagoon ink and cut with Nesties or SU punches. The two right corners are rounded. While it looks like it took lots of time, it actually was pretty quick and simple to make. I thought about adding some sequins, but decided enough was enough.
Supplies
Stamps: Endless Wishes set by Stampin' Up
Paper: SU Lost Lagoon and Whisper White card stock, SU All Is Calm DSP
Ink: SU Lost Lagoon pad
Other: SU All Is Calm washi tape, Die-namics Pierced Fishtail Flags STAX, circle and scalloped circle Nesties, SU round and scalloped round punches, the Big Shot, dimensionals
Have a fun and relaxing Sunday! Thanks for looking in,
Colleen

Here's Lookin' At You!
Hello,
I had a hard time deciding what to title my post. Usually, I use the sentiment on the front of my card, but "Boo" seemed too "pedestrian" this time considering my embellishments. Ha!
Yes, I kinda got carried away using "goggly eyes" on my card, but I think it turned out pretty darn cute.
I made this card for Jaydee's sketch challenge for The Paper Player's #210. The inspiration came from these Doodlebug papers. While looking through my halloween paper stash, I saw these with the eyes and remembered the Googly Ghouls SU set and the goggly eyes that go with it. Back to the papers, I love the eyes peeking through the doors! Don't you?
The large goggly eye is from a set of "eyes" that I found in a fun gift shop a couple years ago. I haven't used them until now. Jaydee's sketch provided the perfect opportunity.
Supplies
Stamps: Goggly Ghouls set by Stampin' Up
Paper: SU Only Orange and Green Galore card stock and Doodlebug's Halloween Parade patterned papers
Ink: Memento tuxedo black
Other: classic circle Nesties, Die-namics banner die, SU goggly eyes, Archie McPhee large goggly eyes, the Big Shot and dimensionals
Happy Hump Day tomorrow and thanks for looking in,
Colleen

"hashtag" Got Cupcake?
Hi stampers,
I hope you all had a good Monday. Mine wasn't too busy, work wise, which is always nice for a Monday.
While stamping yesterday this is one of the cards that I made. I think this set is so, so cute and I can't wait to ink up and color the other animal images.
As you can see, I used Jen's Deconstructed Sketch 165 for my layout. This little party goat is stamped in Memento tuxedo black and colored with Copics. I fussy cut him out and popped him with dimensionals onto some SU DSP. The circle dies are Die-namics. The "hashtag" symbol is from a SOM kit from TE from a few months ago. I added some Glossy Accents over his nose and some Expresso Dimensional Pearls to the icing on the cupcake.
Supplies
Stamps: Party Animals set by Simon Says Stamp
Paper: SU very vanilla, basic black, Pool Party and XPress-It Blending card stocks and SU Flashback DSP
Ink: Memento tuxedo black and Copics
Other: Die-namics dies, SU word window punch, SU vanilla candy dots, wooden hashtag symbol, Glossy Accents, Dimensional Pearls, the Big Shot and dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by,
Colleen

Sending You Oceans Of Love
Hey all and Happy Hump day!
I'm on a roll inking up new stamps that I received recently. This one is another SugarPea Designs set. So, so cute and again, super fun to color. This card uses Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch 232. I rotated the sketch to accommodate the image.
I stamped the image on XPress-It Blending card stock with Memento tuxedo black and colored it with Copics. The sand castle and crab are fussy cut and added to the scene. The photo frame is from SU cut from the patterned paper and the banners are Die-namics.
I'm entering my card in the SPD08 Monthly Challenge, which is "anything goes."
Supplies
Stamps: Seaside Wishes set by SugarPea Designs
Paper: SU Coastal Cabana and Island Indigo card stock, XPress-It Blending card stock, and Echo Park Paradise Beach pattern papers
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, Copics
Other: SU photo frame die, Die-namics banner dies, white gel pen, pink Stickles, Doodlebug enamel dots, the Big Shot, dimensionals
Thanks for looking,
Colleen

You Can Tackle Anything
Happy Tuesday,
Here's a card that I made this past Sunday using another new SugarPea Designs set. The layout is the SPDSS09 from the SugarPea blog.
I made this card for my cousin Brenda who recently broke her leg. After reading some of her recent FaceBook posts, she needs some cheering up, so I'm hoping that this little fishing beaver will help.
I stamped the image on XPress-It Blending card stock with Memento tuxedo black and colored her with Copics. I paper pieced the hat and the vest. I made a mask and used my cloud stencil to add the clouds in the background and hand "painted' the grass with my Copics. I stamped the sentiment one word at a time so I could wrap it around the oval. The image was layered per the sketch using patterned papers from Doodlebug Designs.
I'm telling you, these SugarPea sets are a blast to color with Copics and I'm enjoying getting more practice using them.
Supplies
Stamps: Great Catch set by SugarPea Designs
Paper: SU Early Expresso and Whisper White card stock, XPress-It Blending card stock and Flower Box by Doodlebug Designs patterned papers
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, Copics, SU Poppy Parade and Coastal Cabana
Other: classic oval and scalloped oval Nesties, Fishtail Flags STAX die, Glossy Accents, MME and Dear Lizzy enamel elements, the Big Shot, and dimensionals
Thanks for looking in today,
Colleen

Puff the Magic Dragon
Well Hello all,
My oh my it's been awhile since I've been on my blog! For that matter, it's been awhile since I've done any stamping.
We were gone for a little over two weeks on vacation, and had a glorious time. We rented a vacation house on Cape Cod with friends. Nothing but relaxing. Reading, hiking, beaching, dining out, dining in, happy hours each evening on the porch. You get the idea. And boy, it's been hard to get back into the work groove again. Can I say I'm counting the years until retirement. In the scheme of things, it's not too many years away.
On to my card. Yesterday I got out my stamps, paper and ink and made a card for LeAnn's CAS challenge for The Paper Player's . LeAnn's challenge is to make a CAS children's birthday card. (happy 4th birthday to Cassidy) Before we left on vacation, I received some new stamps from Sugar Pea Designs and I had ordered this super cute dragon set. I knew it would be perfect for this challenge.
I stamped this little dragon onto white card stock with Memento tuxedo black ink and colored him with Copics. I moistened a textured paper towel with Colorless Blender and blotted the dragon's body to make the skin bumpy like "scales". I masked him and stamped the dashed border three times, once each in red, yellow and orange. I trimmed the image, rounded the corners and added the baker's twine, then used some dimensionals to adhere to the card base, also in white. The sentiment comes with the set. Lastly, I added some yellow Stickles to the flame on the cake and some glossy accents over his eyes, toes and cake icing.
Supplies
Stamps: Blow Me Away set by SugarPea Designs and Hearts and Stitches set by MFT
Paper: XPress-It blending card stock- white
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, SU real red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Copics
Other: Fiskers large corner rounder punch, baker's twine, yellow Stickles, Glossy Accents, dimensionals
Thanks for looking in,
Colleen
