Celebrate MOM

I'm taking a few days off from work at the end of the week here, which makes it a four day weekend for me. Whoo-hoo! I had planned on maybe heading to the beach for the afternoon with my e reader and music, but it turned a little chilly so I got out my stamps instead.

I wanted to get a card made for The Paper Players. Jaydee has a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge and I find these so fun. Since I didn't get a chance to play along with Sandy's sketch challenge last week, I used her sketch for my card.

I used the right side vertical option of twine, yellow and flower. The large flower and leaves stamps are from an Altenew set called Spring Daisy. The sentiment is SU.

For the inside, I used another daisy stamp from the same Altenew set and the sentiment is from Avery Elle.

I hear that it's going to get colder with rain and wind here tomorrow through the weekend, so I predict more stamping time.

Thanks for coming by,

Stamps: Spring Daisy set by Altenew, Thoughtful Banners by Stampin' Up
Paper: SU Hello Honey and Whisper White card stock, SoHo Garden by American Crafts patterned papers
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, SU Sahara Sand, Crushed Curry, Old Olive
Other: Spellbinders Scalloped Square die, Lil' Inker Stitched Square tag die, TE Small Scalloped Border die, SU Baker's Twine, small ric rack, the Big Shot, dimensionals

  1. Colleen, this is gorgeous! I love the DSP paired with this fun daisy! Lots of layers to make me smile! SO sorry you didn't get to the beach but glad you could join us at The Paper Players this week! XX

  2. How beautiful it is, Coleen!!! Love the die-cuts and patterned paper, and that sweet flower is amazing too. Thank you for sharing your card with the Paper Players!

  3. How pretty Colleen! Love the co-ordinated layers and your feature flower looks made to match that fab paper. Great take on Sandy's sketch too. Shame you missed out on an afternoon at the beach, but yay for more stamping time! Enjoy your long weekend. xx
