Happy Mother's Day

Hi again,

I have one more card to share this evening. A friend asked me to make Mother's Day cards for her mom for her mother in-law. Here is the first one, made following this week's Freshly Made Sketches! These large Avery Elle Sunflowers seemed to work well for the three circles in the sketch. I wanted to keep the design fairly simple so I used a piece of patterned paper on a plain white background.

The sunflower images are colored with Copics then cut out with the set dies. The Happy Mother's Day stamp is from another Avery Elle set called Mother's Day.

I've left the inside without a sentiment for my friend to write a personal message. I did add one of the smaller images from the stamp set in the lower right corner.

That's it for now. I hope you have a relaxing Friday. I'm back at work tomorrow to help setup a system interface to the Laboratory Information System.
