Thanks

Hello peeps and Happy Friday,

It's still raining here in San Diego. I don't think it's stopped since last Sunday evening, and late this afternoon, it's freaking pouring! Our back yard is flooded.

I have two thank you cards to share that I've made over the last few evenings after work. The first one uses this week's Freshly Made Sketch. I don't have any diamond shaped dies to use, so I improvised with a square on point.

Papers and stamps are from the newly released SU Bundle called Ornate Garden. I kept the design pretty simple.

Here is the inside of the card.

The second card is made with supplies and stamps from a couple of Simon Says Stamp Monthly kits. The stamp set is from the October 2019 kit and the pattern paper is from the September 2019 kit. I loved this paper with the birds along the bottom edge and wanted to come up with a card to use it. I think this turned out pretty sweet.

The flower is stamped and colored with Copics. The sentiment is stamped with Gina K Teal ink using the Misti to get a darker image.

And, here is the inside of this card.

Enjoy your holiday weekend.  Thanks for looking in,
Colleen
