Hello crafty peeps,
I love both the colors and the theme for the current Sunday Stamps challenge. It's color week with a patriotic palette of blues, red and craft, and the theme is appropriately Summer Adventure.
I don't know how "adventurous" this sun bather is, but I think she has a great idea for summer relaxing. I colored her up in the challenge colors and gave her a layout from this week's CAS(E) this Sketch!
This little sunbather, her beach bag and beach ball are all stamped with Memento tuxedo black ink onto X-Press It Blending card stock and colored with Copics. After coloring, I fussy cut the images and arranged them per the sketch on a panel cut with a Die-namics Stitched Rectangle. The sentiment tab is cut out with an older Die-namics die. To stamp the sentiment, I used a part of one of the sentiment stamps in the set, inking the parts I wanted with a SU Midnight Muse marker. The wave background stamp is from Honey Bee. It is stamped with Midnight Muse ink onto a card base of SU Bordering Blue card stock.
Here is the inside of my card. The wave border and sea bottom stamps are part of the Honey Bee background set and the sentiment is from the Pure Innocence set.
Thanks for looking in,
